Benjamin.
It was the beginning of summer. A time to celebrate, at least, for those who would be out of school, able to comb over the city as late as they pleased. Drinking until dawn, sleeping until noon, kisses and touches they wouldn’t be remembered. Alois Trancy was in love with the humid air and how everyone had that light, the light just before twilight, when everything looked beautiful. It seemed to fall across every floor and sidewalk, already he was in a dream.
Before he’d left that evening, the blonde had pulled on dark red flannel, blue jeans, and his white TOMS. The flannel shapeless on his thin body, the jeans tight around his feminine hips. As always, Alois took a few gulps of his own wine before leaving his apartment and the alcohol still warmed his body, causing a lovely pink to flush his porcelain cheeks. To be prepared, he told himself.
The events that had taken place before he’d stumbled onto this party weren’t entirely important. But, as he sauntered through the door, a few familiar faces caught his eye and that’s when he decided to stay. That and the booze, the free booze. And the drugs, drugs were always free to a pretty face.
There was a place on the couch between a girl with hair as blonde as his own and a brunette boy. He took a seat, pulling a cigarette from the pack in his pocket and lit it. No need to introduce himself, no need to talk to them. She looked like a slut, he looked hyped up on something. Alois would wait for someone to approach him, it wouldn’t be long. He knew how handsome he looked tonight and he also knew someone at this party would try and take advantage of that. He wasn’t going to stop whoever it was. In fact, he liked the attention.
